CiF-GmbH has been entered in the Trade Register since 1994. Until June 2009 it was managed by Erhard and René Scholz. René Scholz has now been the sole manager and owner of the company since July 2009.

Both managers studied “Mechanical engineering” with an additional training course as a specialised welding engineer.

Since 1954, Erhard Scholz worked in the welding technology department in the fields of "Research and development, works management, development of welding consumables and customer consultation". His special fields of expertise were the development of flux cored wires, the development of technological concepts, welding metallurgy and economic efficiency issues.

Since completion of his studies (1992), René Scholz has been committed to welding technology. His main field of activity was the development and production of flux cored wires. Since the foundation of CiF-GmbH, the main focus lies on the tasks listed in the service portfolio.
